U-Kiss’ Dongho, who sustained a hairline fracture to his coccyx, has made a full recovery.
 

U-Kiss will release their Japanese debut single Tick Tack on December 14. This is U-Kiss’s first Japanese album release.

On December 13, a spokesperson for the group said, “Dongho sustained a hairline fracture to his coccyx while shooting a movie. But he is completely healed now. He has been staying in Japan for the past three weeks, holding signings and giving interviews.”

Dongho felt pain in his waist after he shot the movie so he visited the hospital the next day. He underwent treatment but the injury has taken time to heal completely. As a result, he was not able to perform any powerful dance moves.

U-Kiss started working with Avex, one of the biggest entertainment companies in Japan, for their Japanese debut. They will promote themselves actively and they will hold their exclusive concert in Japan next year.

U-Kiss is continuously hinting that it has big plans for Japan next year. A rep from U-Kiss’ agency recently told enews, “Avex, the group’s management company in Japan, chose U-Kiss as the next group which will lead the Korean wave, and is pitching a strong marketing strategy.” The rep also added, “Please look forward to next year.”Avex is Japan’s largest management company, and manages many other hallyu stars such as BoA, Super Junior, TVXQ and GD&TOP. Other popular Japanese artists such as Hamasaki Ayumi and Koda Kumi are also managed by Avex.

U-Kiss made its official Japan debut in June with the help of Avex. The group released a licensed version of its Korean album in August, and plans to follow it up with its debut single on December 14, titled Tick Tack.

U-Kiss recently finished filming the single’s music video in Korea, and the preview for the video was recently released in Japan to a warm welcome by the group’s fans.
The preview shows the members in chic suits, dancing in front of a large clock to emphasize their strict image. An official from the group’s agency, NH Media, said, “The Japanese staff made a chic and splendid video.”The official also stated, “Not only does U-Kiss have plans for a new song, but it also has many other plans for next year. They will be even better than before. Please look forward to it.”

U-Kiss will be leaving for Japan at the end of November for promotion, and will come back a month later, near the end of December.

U-Kiss members Dong Ho and Eli showed at the Korea-China Concert, aired on KBS1 on November 20, that they have great skill in foreign languages, making it ever more likely that the group will be successful overseas. Because the two attended schools in China, they are fluent in Chinese.

[NEWS] 111105 U-Kiss reveals tracklist for debut Japanese single "Tick Tack"

While news about U-Kiss's official Japanese debut was already revealed a while ago, the group's Japanese label has now officially released the contents of the single's different versions.

Beginning with the CD version, which will include two tracks and its instrumentals; a CD+DVD and Mumo version will also be released. The limited version of the CD only release includes a bonus track, "0330-Piano & Chorus ver.-".

The CD+DVD version includes an extra DVD with the track's music video, as well as a making of in the CD+DVD limited release. "Tick Tack"'s Mumo version will only include the main two tracks, but will have an original Mumo cover. Mumo's limited release will included one out of seven autographed cards.

U-Kiss's debut single "Tick Tack" will be released on December 14th. The collaboration of members Eli and Kevin with Japanese singer JAMOSA will be revealed on week earlier, on December 7th.

[NEWS] 110622 U-Kiss is ready for their full-scale Japanese debut and... Takoyaki houses?

U-Kiss has a burning will to tour in Japan.

U-Kiss is currently planning to work in the Osaka-based area in the Kansai region in order to differentiate themselves since most Korean idol groups have a tendency to work in Tokyo, Japan.

They have began living together under one roof this month. They have seemed to adapt to Japanese lifestyle very well.

The members often have strenuous and very difficult practices every day, and since they are within thirty minutes of takoyaki shops (grilled octopus dumplings) they have taken a particular affection to the Japanese cuisine. They also have a very bold passion for learning the Japanese language, as they often go outside and converse in Japanese using practical exercises. Dongho, the youngest of U-Kiss, says that he would love to go to Japan’s outdoor fields to play baseball. He said he would also love to attend the Koshien Invitational one day.

Today, they have started the first of their live filming for their upcoming DVD release.

U-Kiss is a multinational group with dreams of momentum for global expansion, one that could easily be achieved with their new-found success in Japan.
