[INFO] 110505 U-Kiss Performs for a Charity Program

“HopeTV 23, Hope for Children on Global Village,” a SBS open charity program was shot on May 5 with a live audience at a specially prepared stage in Cheonggyecheon, Seoul.

This event was held as part of the SBS TV 24 charity project, designed to support children in the Third World suffering from diseases and poverty.

Among the programs, the video clip of Seo Young-hee who visited the remote area of a poverty-stricken country was shown and impressed people there, followed by music performances of Miss A, U-Kiss, In Soon Ee and IU to share the cause.

[NEWS] 110427 U-Kiss to be the first Korean artists to perform in Brunei

 

U-Kiss is about to make history by becoming the first ever Korean artist to perform in Brunei.

The idol group recently made their comeback with ‘0330‘, and their popularity has been rising steadily. After wrapping up their ‘0330′ promotions, they’ll take off to start their Asian promotions in May.

U-Kiss stated, “We are going to be performing in Brunei. We’ve never been there before, so we’re very excited. We heard that we will be the first Korean artist to perform there. Therefore, we are more nervous and think we should do a good job.”

The boys will tour Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore as well as Brunei in May during their Asian promotions.

[NEWS] 110416 U-Kiss performs on “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook”

On April 15th, U-KISS guested on KBS’s “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook” and embarrassed MC Yoo Hee Yeol for his older age.

The MC began by stating, “Kevin looks like the type who can’t tell a lie. Honestly, now that you’ve seen me in person, aren’t I a lot more handsome than you thought?”

Kevin replied, “Hyung? Excuse me, but how old are you?” Seeing Yoo Hee Yeol playfully shocked over his answer, Kevin fixed his question to ask, “Ah… age (honorific form). How old are you (honorific form)?”

Kevin made it up to the MC by quickly adding, “But hyung, you’re really handsome. Please watch over us!” Check out their performances on the show!

[NEWS] 110305 Alexander to Perform Once More With U-Kiss

After the announcement of Alexander and Kibum leaving the group, Alexander will once more perform as a U-Kiss member.

By the end of January, an announcement had been made regarding a U-Kiss mini-concert in Medan, Indonesia on March 5th. With this, NH has made a condition that he would be given a freelance contract if U-Kiss were to have overseas activities allowing Alexander to attend the concert. On the other hand, Kibum’s contract was terminated in early January making it impossible for him to be at the said event.

To fulfill the concert contract that has been made to Alexander, he will therefore perform at the said concert making it that ‘last performance as a U-Kiss member.’

It was said that after the concert, the ‘new’ U-Kiss will prepare for their comeback with a ballad and will introduce their two new members to give the group more vocal strength.
