[NEWS] 111220 Alexander kicks off his solo showcase tour in Japan and Malaysia

U-Kiss‘s former member Alexander has kicked off his solo showcase tour to a successful start in Japan and Malaysia!

On December 9th, he held his ‘Alexander Showcase Live 2011‘ in Japan and was greeted by a crowd of 700 fans and 100 industry officials.

A director of his Japanese concert promotions stated, “Alexander showed dancing and singing skills that exceeded the expectations of officials from music labels, so they took a lot of interest in him. He’s also someone that the Japanese people take very well to character-wise, so we’re looking forward to seeing what he can show on dramas or variety shows.”

On the 17th, he headed for Malaysia to perform at NTV7‘s ‘Star Live Concert‘, where he sang “Bad Girl” and “That Man” as a special guest. On the 18th, he held his second showcase with 1,500 fans, and performed his title track, “I Just“, along with other songs like “Oh! Baby“, “Bad Girl”. He also did a special shuffle dance.

Fans commented, “It’s nice to see him so confident even while standing alone“, and “It was worth waiting for him.” 

Representatives of his Malaysia showcase stated, “His numerous charms makes him stand out as a singer. He’s also capable of several languages, so we’re absolutely sure that he’ll be well-loved by not only Malaysia, but all of Asia.”

[NEWS] 110705 U-Kiss to be active in Japan with fanmeeting and showcase

Last month we reported that U-Kiss, who recently signed on with Japanese agency Avex Entertainment, would be spending the next three months preparing for promotions in Japan.

U-Kiss will be holding fan meetings in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka prior to the release of their Japanese debut album. The group released their mini-album "Bran New KISS" this spring in Korea; it will be released in Japan on August 24 in preparation for a Japanese single to be released in the winter.

The fan meetings, the group's first official activities in Japan, are scheduled to have live performances, special videos, and talks. The schedule is as follows:

- July 18: Zepp Tokyo
- July 24: Zepp Nagoya
- July 30: Zepp Osaka

There will be two events, one at 2:30 PM and one at 6:30 PM, for each day and location. Fans who are interested in going can apply for tickets on U-Kiss' official Japanese website.

In addition, on July 19 at Osaka Melpark Hall and July 21 at Tokyo Suginami Public Hall, U-Kiss's Dongho, Hoon, and Eli will be holding a "U-Kiss Dongho Talk Show and 'My Black Mini Dress' Preview K-Movie's New Wave Showcase Vol. 1." Fans who would like go to the showcase can pre-reserve tickets through a lottery system via Pia starting July 9.

Meanwhile the group has been living together in Osaka since the beginning of June. In an interview with Sankei Sports, Soohyun said, "Osaka is really kind, like Korea. It's a privilege to be able to live here enjoyably. The food is also good." The members have particularly taken to takoyaki, a Japanese food from the Kansai area (which includes Osaka) and is a round octopus dumpling-type food.

Each of them has also been taking Japanese lessons daily. Eli said that they enjoy practicing their Japanese with the takoyaki shop owner in Doutonbori (a popular shopping district in Osaka).

Additionally, Dongho, who likes baseball, would like to see the Koshien Japanese high school baseball tournament and see the baseball dome, since Korea does not have any baseball domes.

A DVD with clips of U-Kiss' lives in Japan will be included on their Japanese album that is coming out on August 24.

U-Kiss showcase in Malaysia which was said to take place at Menara PGRM has been changed to KL Pavilion and everyone can watch it for free on June 10.

The Presenter of the event, RadioActive has decided to make the show a free event for the public. The content of the show will not be affected as the organizers promise a spectacular show with high quality production.

All existing ticket holders will still be entitled for the benefits, which are exclusively designed for each ticket categories. These benefits include dinner session with U-Kiss members, individual and group photo session.

Ticket holders of Package 650, Package 480 and RM330 are entitled to enter the free-seating Pit Zone, receive an autographed CD and get to go on stage for handshake with all U-Kiss members, while ticket holders of RM153 are entitled to the free-seating Rock Zone. Package 650 will be getting exclusive individual photo session and dinner session with the U-Kiss members.

Organized by Redstar Presents, event managed by Marctensia, U-Kiss, “Bran New Kiss” Album Showcase 2011 will be held at Dewan Wawasan, Level 4, Tower 1, Menara PGRM in Cheras on 10 June 2011 at 8pm. This event is expected to draw a huge crowd and public attraction after their debut trip in Malaysia last year.

Formed in 2008, U-Kiss has successfully built its name and gained popularity in a short span of time. Their amazing live performance has won themselves a great number of fans from all around the world. In 2010, U-Kiss has been awarded The Most Talented Boy Band by Channel V Taiwan. The boys are excited to see their fans here in Malaysia, and have promised to put up a great show for their fans this June.

Apart from rendering songs featured in their fifth mini album titled Bran New Kiss, which was released in March 2011 and other popular songs from their previous albums; U-Kiss will be getting up-close and personal with their Malaysian fans through a number of activities offered in various ticket packages. [NEWS] 110304 U-Kiss' Last Concert With Ex-Member Alexander

Background Info:  As was officially announce on Feb 24^th, NH Media decided to give U-Kiss a member change, therefore, terminating the contract of both Kim Kibum, and Alexander L. Eusebio’s contracts.

Kim Kibum’s contract has already been terminated in early January, but was told by the agency to keep quiet about the announcement until everything has been resolved until he can tell the fans himself. Alexander felt the same way, but the news broke before they can finalize the problem.

Alexander was offered a different condition on his termination (Official date of his contract termination from U-Kiss was March 1^st), instead of completely being terminated; NH gave him a chance for a freelance contract for possible overseas activities regarding U-Kiss in the future. Details are still being discussed. In the meantime, Alexander is currently working on other projects while Kibum will focus on HnB Company for the time being and keeping Choco with good company.

About the Concert:

It was announced sometime in late January that U-Kiss will have a mini concert/showcase in Medan, Indonesia on March 5^th Saturday. It will take place at the Mikie Holiday Hotel. Although at this moment, Alexander is no longer under contract as part of U-Kiss, he will still attend the Medan concert.  The mini showcase was never meant to be part of the “goodbye concert”, but happened on complete accident as the contract for the concert was already signed. If you happen to be in Medan, Indonesia and happened to be a fan of U-Kiss or k-pop!! You definitely CANNOT miss this concert as it will be officially the last concert with Alexander performing together with the rest of U-Kiss! (Kibum will NOT be attending)
