[NEWS] 110605 U-Kiss' Showcase for free in Kuala Lumpur

Redstar Presents and Marctensia are bringing great news to all K-Pop fans! Watch U-Kiss' Showcase Live at KL Pavilion Main Entrance for free!

As originally scheduled, the showcase will take place on June 10, but the venue has been changed to KL Pavilion main entrance. The Presenter of the event, RadioActive has decided to take on the whole show and make it a free event for the public. The content of the show will not be affected as the organizers promise a spectacular show with high quality production.

In regards to the previously sold tickets for the U-Kiss “Brand New Kiss” Album Showcase 2011, the joint-organizers have made some appropriate arrangements for all existing ticket holders. All existing ticket holders will still be entitled for the benefits, which are exclusively designed for each ticket categories. These benefits include dinner session with U-Kiss members, individual photo session and group photo session. Ticket holders of Package 650, Package 480 and RM330 are entitled to enter the free-seating Pit Zone, receive an autographed CD and get to go on stage for handshake with all U-Kiss members, while ticket holders of RM153 are entitled to the free-seating Rock Zone.

There are 3 different versions for the Bran New Kiss album (Japan release): 2 with CD+DVD, and 1 with just the CD
The first version with DVD has behind the scene footage of their visit to Japan (approx. 20 minutes of footage) on the DVD
The second version with DVD has the 0330 MV (approx. 10 minutes of footage) on the DVD
The CD-only version has the Japanese version of 0330 (and it’s an exclusive track for the CD-only version, it seems)
The versions with DVD are approx. 35 USD, and the CD-only is approx. 24 USD

[NEWS] 110604 Life after U-Kiss, Kim Kibum transforms into a CEO

After leaving the group U-Kiss, Kim Kibum (aka Allen) has been keeping himself busy with various activities.

Most recently, on May 20th, the idol turned young CEO attended a special launch event / fan meeting in Singapore for the toy character ‘Piro Piro’ which was held together with Warner Singapore. The character is from his jointly owned company named HnB Company that he set up with his brother, SS501’s Kim Hyung Joon.

The promotional event was held to help spread the name of Piro Piro for export business purposes, it was stated that around 1,000 fans attended the event.

At the event, the idol was greeted by fans who prepared a special audio and video message for him. Because of their kind actions, when he returned back to Korea, he posted a thank you message to the fans on his twitter account.

With much exuberance, Kibum stated, “Now that I’m alone, I have much more responsibilities to handle. To show my appreciation to fans all around the world for showing their love, I’m in the progress of composing music to eventually return to the entertainment realm. At the same time, I’m also handling my business obligations.”

[NEWS] 110603 U-Kiss signs with Avex, prepares for Japanese advancement this year

U-Kiss has announced that they have signed on with Avex Japan to officially prepare for their Japanese advancement.

On June 5th, representatives of NH Media confirmed, “U-Kiss signed a contract with one of Japan’s biggest agencies, Avex, for their advancement.”

The decision to run with Avex was made amidst many other offers from competing agencies. After signing with Avex, the boys settled on having the city of Osaka at the core of their promotion plans, and they’re now beginning to prepare for their official debut.

Representatives of Avex said, “We will be doing everything we can to support their Japanese promotions.”

Their advancement has been in talks since the end of last year, and representatives revealed that Japan will be just one of the many Asian promotions that they have planned for the group.

NH Media continued, “On August 24th, we will be releasing the Japanese licensed version of ‘Bran New Kiss‘ to begin gaining a footing in the market.”

In December, the boys will be releasing a major Japanese debut single, followed by their first nationwide tour next year.
