Hyungjoon’s Interview with IS Plus(only the parts relating to Kibum):
Q: Your character business is flourishing.
It’s truly beyond my expectation. Thanks to my brother Kibum that’s why it’s flourishing. Kibum even did the packaging of products himself, and also stuffed the cottonwool into the toys. The character cushions that were supplied to us and meant to be sold over 1 year has been sold out in only 2~3 months. Response in Japan and China is good too. Not long ago we also recruited 2 employees who are good in foreign language. We’ll start on aggressive overseas sales too. After the character ‘Piro Piro’ that was already released first, will be followed by another character ‘Siro Siro’. Our company is filled with the Festival Atmosphere. Haha.
Q: How do you distribute the profits raked in from your business?
I give it all to my brother. Because he’s the one working more aggressively his guts out for this.
Q: Your brother Kibum withdrew from U-Kiss. How will his future broadcast activities turn out like?
He’s looking for an agency that will blend in well with him. Should there be any good agency for him, he’ll start his broadcast activities thereafter. It’ll be good if Kibum could succeed at first go, but I hope for him to become a singer who develops better and better over each stage by each step consistently.

U-Kiss' member Dongho has surprised viewers and fans with his acting skills in the rising MBC drama 'Royal Family.'
Last week, on the March 16th broadcast, Dongho told his mother (Youm Jungah) that he would be staying in the JK district. He therefore coldheartedly left his birth mother.
In 'Royal Family,' the character of ByungJun (Dongho) has a background conflict between power and resistance. Staying in the JK district, he will plan and move toward protecting both his and his mother's future.
Pertaining to this, Dongho stated, “at 17, I've not owned vast amounts of power or property and I'm filled with caution as I approach this role. However, by studying acting and also help from others, I'm getting better and better.” Dongho also discusses U-Kiss' comeback activities. “Currently, we're finishing a new album and after picking the comeback date, I'm nervous to be an idol with a concept like this.”
At the same time, U-Kiss has released an official statement revealing their comeback date. Their new album will be unveiled on the 30th, along with the two new members.
The clothing brand, Joff, was sponsoring a U-Kiss fansigning today at the Arum Daum Outlet. This is the first fansigning event after Kibum and Alexander’s contract have been terminated. The new members Hoon and AJ were not there, but only the original 5 members were there today signing and meeting the fans.
It really upset the fans when they saw the giant sized banner hanging at the signing.
Can you see what's wrong with that?
"It's so NOT obvious! The fans are TOTALLY not gonna notice!" - Banner Editing Person
The text conveniently covered Alexander and Kibum’s entire face to censor them out. You can compare this picture with the original above.
One might argue that Eli and Kiseop’s faces were half-blocked, but it was not intentional like the “editing” job they did on Alexander and Kibum. It was such a sour reminder to the fans that Alexander and Kibum, whom they love and supported for years, were no longer there.
The big white letters completely blocked out their faces, but of course, it was really obvious to the fans that it was them.
They might as well put a big red ‘X’ over their faces. It would have brought out the same reaction.
