Having just made their comeback with the title track of their new mini album – ‘Shut Up’ in October, U-Kiss have once again headed down to Singapore, ready to put up an amazing show for their Singapore fans. They landed in Singapore on 18th November, held their exclusive fan sign event at IMM Garden Plaza with 500 KissMes and participated in the ‘The Kings of Freedom’ concert at Bedok Reservoir Park on the following day.

At the fan sign event, U-Kiss members greeted the fans with a big smile while KissMes welcomed them warmly with a fan cheer – ‘Kiss Me Kiss Me 유키스 x2, 사랑해요’ (Kiss Me Kiss Me UKISS x2 I Love You). The event then proceeded on with a Q&A session.
Who snores the loudest?
Majority of the members pointed their fingers to Kibum. Dongho commented that he once shared a room with Kibum and even imitated him snoring during his sleep.
Ideal type?
Kiseop – Small built girls
Kibum – All girls that hold up Kibum placards (laughs)
Eli – All KissMes
Where would you go to, for a date?
Soohyun – Namsan Tower, you guys know Namsan Tower? (Fans: Yes!)
Eli – To the beach
Kiseop – Tallest building in Singapore
Kibum – Staying with the girl for the whole day
Dongho – Theme park
U-Kiss also played games with a few lucky fans. Fans were asked to dance to U-Kiss’ song – ‘Man Man Han Ni’, guess the member that drank the lemon juice or continue the lyrics of U-Kiss’ song – ‘Bingeul Bingeul’.
Winners walked away with personal gifts from U-Kiss members. Kevin and Kibum gave away their perfume with their autograph on the bottle while Alexander gave a self-designed T-shirt.
A surprise birthday party was held for Kevin, whose birthday falls on November 25th, right before the fan sign started. 500 lucky KissMes got their album autographed with their name written on it by the U-Kiss members.
U-Kiss held a press conference as well on the same day at Korean Tourism Plaza.

Most awkward member in ‘Shut Up’ MV
They mentioned that everyone was awkward due to the intimate interaction with the female model in the MV however Eli had no NG during filming. Alexander added that Eli did very well. They felt awkward as it was their first time having a beautiful model in their MV and they had to do lots of skinship with her. They felt sorry to all their fans but it came out well eventually.
The inner ‘bad boy’ image
Eli mentioned that they practiced a lot in front of the mirror especially Kevin who tried acting with his eyes to look like a ‘bad boy’. Kevin said that it was hard at first but they had to practice a lot and thank goodness it turned out well. They may look natural on screen but they still feel awkward! Kibum even said ‘you guys don’t know what’s the real U-Kiss!’ causing an uproar of laughter. U-Kiss ended off the question by showing off their ‘bad boy image’.
Why ‘Shut Up’ as title song?
Alexander said that they actually received a lot of other songs for the album but ‘Shut Up’ left the most impact on them due to the chorus and that is something that they haven’t tried before.
It was actually a continuation of their previous hit song ‘Man Man Ha Ni’. They want to bring out the message that they’re not that easy so please do not overlook them. Now it’s time for all to keep quiet, sit down, listen to U-Kiss’ music, witness their bad boy image and enjoy.
They ended off their stay in Singapore as the international act for The Kings of Freedom Concert 2010.
U-Kiss kicked off with their hit song – Man Man Han Ni followed by Mworago, Bingeul Bingeul, a cover of End of the Road by Boyz II Men and their latest song – Shut Up.
