Although U-Kiss has been busy lately preparing for their Japanese debut, with the group’s first Japanese single scheduled
to be released on December 14th, they were originally scheduled to meet
their fans in Hong Kong on November 12th. However, two days before the
fan meeting, it was suddenly announced that the fan meeting would be
postponed.
According to a notice posted by the ticketing website, U-Kiss could not be in Hong Kong for the fan meeting due to a sudden conflict in the group’s schedule. The fan meeting is expected to be postponed until February of 2012, and additional information will be released on U-Kiss’s official website when it becomes available. All tickets purchased must be refunded and new tickets must be purchased for the new date.
While this news has disappointed many fans, other fans also expressed that the announcement of the fan meeting gave them too short of a notice, and thus, the postponement will likely result in more fans attending the event as they are now given more time to save up for tickets. The fan meeting scheduled for November 19th in Taiwan is still expected to be held as planned.
