[NEWS] 110929 U-Kiss’ Hoon and Dongho cast for new TV movie, ‘Holyland’

U-Kiss' Hoon and Dongho have been cast for an upcoming made-for-TV movie called ‘Holyland‘!

These members of U-Kiss have enjoyed extensive experience in the acting industry like ‘Royal Family‘, ‘My Black Mini-Dress‘, ‘Mister Idol‘,  ‘Don’t Cry Mommy‘ and ‘Real School‘. ‘Holyland’ will round out to be the sixth project that the group will be undertaking, and the fourth for ‘acting idol’ Dongho.

Dongho started off his career with side roles and slowly built his way up to finally landing a leading role with ‘Holyland’. The movie was produced by cable channel OCN and is directed by Park Ki Hyung of ‘Whispering Corridors‘. This four-part movie will be about a rebellious group of high school students.

The two will be focusing on the group’s ‘Neverland‘ promotions before beginning filming in November.

[NEWS] 110410 U-Kiss, Jay Park & others cast for upcoming idol movie, “Mister Kids”

The members of U-Kiss and Jay Park have been cast for an upcoming idol-themed movie, “Mister Kids“!

U-Kiss and Jay Park held their first recording in Junju on April 8th, and reportedly, U-Kiss will be dividing into units for the movie. The main plot revolves around the fierce competition between two top idol groups.

Despite their busy schedule with their “0330” comeback, the members have been taking lessons in piano, bass, guitar, and drums to perfect their transformation into a full fledged band for the movie.

The cast line-up also includes Kim Soo Ro, Park Ye Jin, and Ji Hyun Woo.

[NEWS] 110125 U-Kiss' Dongho is madly in love with Yoo In Na in ‘My Black Mini Dress’

U-Kiss’ Dongho is aiming to improve his acting skills through his upcoming movies this year.

Last week, Dongho filmed a scene with co-star Yoo In Na for the movie, ‘My Black Mini Dress‘, and staff praised the idol star for the strong portrayal of his character. He plays the role of ‘Yoo Seung Won’, a high school student who’s madly in love with Yoo In Na, but becomes pained when she ignores him.

Besides ‘My Black Mini Dress’, Dongho has also been cast for the movie, ‘Happy Together‘, with Kim Sung Soo and another member from U-Kiss.

U-Kiss’ management company, NH Media, expressed, “This year we will focus on Dongho’s acting activities. We have already planned for Dongho to appear in five movies and some dramas, and he’s received lovecalls for other projects”.

[NEWS] 101206 Dongho of U-Kiss joins cast of ‘My Black Mini Dress’ movie

It was revealed on December 6th that Dongho from U-Kiss had been cast for the upcoming chick flick Korean movie, 'My Black Mini Dress'.

Earlier today, an announcement revealed that Yoon Eun Hye, Park Han Byul, Cha Ye Ryun, and Yoo In Na have also been cast for the movie.

Dongho's agency, NH Media, revealed, "Dongho has been cast as a middle school student who has a crush on Yoo In Na's movie character. This will be Dongho’s second movie after a supporting role in 'Villain on the Second Floor' earlier this year. We are glad that his acting potential has been recognized".

Fans have much to look forward to as Dongho is also cast in a 40-episode sitcom, 'Real School', alongside group members Eli and Kiseop, and it will air on January 3, 2011 through MBC Every1.

Filming for 'My Black Mini Dress' will commence this month, and it will air in early 2011.
