[NEWS] 110922 U-Kiss travels 15,000km in nine days to meet fans across Asia

U-Kiss plan to travel nearly 15,000km in nine days to participate in various fan meetings and concerts across Asia.

U-Kiss has become very popular recently with the title song “Neverland” of their second album. They are travelling across Asia to meet his fans overseas, starting from September 24.

On the 24th, U-Kiss holds a fan meeting in Malaysia, and will continue on to China, where they will perform in a concert in Yan Bian during a festival. On October 3, U-Kiss plan to meet with Taiwanese fans.

They will return to Korea during their tour to participate in a music program that will occur in Changwon, Mokpo, and Gumi.

A source from a representative of U-Kiss says, “They were not able to be very active in Korea recently, so we planned of holding events in Korea, but there were 15 different countries that requested for their visit. There are six fan meetings and concerts in schedule, and we plan to visit different countries one by one.”

“Neverland” has recently become one of the most popular songs in Korea.

[NEWS] 110503 U-Kiss meet the fans in Brunei Darulassam

With only less than a month to go before U-Kiss arrives in Brunei to meet its fans in the Sultanate, the organizing committee of the U-Kiss Meet The Fans Brunei is shifting into high gear to ensure the smooth running of the event on May 29, 2011.

Preparations are underway as Urban Touches Entertainment (UTE), the organizer of the much anticipated event, conducted vigorous promotions and awareness online via its website at http://ukissbrunei.tumblr.com

A teaser video of the Meet The Fans Session in Brunei will be uploaded to the website in a few days. The video is a recorded footage of members of U-Kiss delivering a special message to fans in Brunei for the upcoming event in May. Fans are invited to watch the video by frequently visiting the website for updates.

Recently, U-Kiss' Eli and Kevin went on a street date with their Hong Kong fans for their “Star Date with U-Kiss in Hong Kong” special.

[NEWS] 110307 U-Kiss Create Hysterics Amongst Indonesian Fans

 

U-Kiss' (mini) concert that was held on Saturday (110305) at Star Theater Room, Mikie Holiday Hotel, Medan, Indonesia, made KissMes hysterical. The venue, which was filled with over 500 fans, was also filled with hysteric screams from fans. They repeatedly chanted "U-Kiss" interchangeably with each U-Kiss member's name - Soohyun, Dongho, Eli, Kevin, Alexander, and Kiseop. (Translator's Note: They also chanted for Kibum.)

The concert entertained the entire audience. The MC, Wira, began the concert by inviting the U-Kiss members to play games with their Indonesian fans. An hour was spent on this, which brought U-Kiss and the Indonesian fans closer.

In the first game, each U-Kiss member chose KissMes to play with them. The 6 people that were chosen ascended the stage to get a chance to interact personally with U-Kiss. One by one, each of U-Kiss members were asked to draw their chosen fan. They called it a "special offering". These games created much excitement amongst the fans, and the shouts of joy were deafening, especially when the members gave hugs to their fans.

After the opening cover dance (from Indonesian dance group) finished, the stage instantly became darker. When 6 handsome young men emerged with fashionable casual suits, applause and cheers filled the venue. U-Kiss brought 6 songs that night, including "Before Yesterday", "Bingeul Bingeul", "Shut Up!!", "Mworago", "Talk to Me", "End of the Road", & "Man Man Ha Ni".

U-Kiss performed very energetically. Their movements were very agile & well-organized. No wonder every movement always impresses their fans. After four songs, Alexander, who has been rumored to have been removed from the group, proceeded to the front of the stage. He officially stated that this was his 'first and last' meeting with Indonesian fans. He not state the reason why he was leaving the group, but Alexander promised to all the fans who have been supported and loving him that they will always be in his heart. This caused tears and made the fans even more hysterical. The atmosphere felt blue when all the U-Kiss members embraced each other on the stage.

Recently, NH Media posted an announcement on U-Kiss' official website regarding Kibum and Alexander.

Posted on the 23rd, NH Media says their apologies to the fans of U-Kiss with regards to Kibum and Alexander's issues.

‘Hello, this is NH Media,

U-Kiss would like to thank everyone from your supports and would like to apologize for the series of articles that were revealed. Also, we would like to give our official notice about the issues.

First, we would like to say sorry. With regards to this issue, Kibum and Alexander withdrawing from the group is indeed true and it is true that U-Kiss will have a new member and are currently in practice/rehearsing.

We terminated Kibum's contract because of his position in the group. Alexander did left the group and his domestic individual activities is currently on talk/ planning about it.

U-Kiss will have a new member that would give different image of the group to fans. We strive to develop the group's image/ or the group's situation.

Once again, U-Kiss would like to thank everyone for showing their concern regarding this matter.

[NEWS] Dongho's Movies Catch Fan's Attention

U-Kiss' Dongho is making his movie debut in the "Villain on the Second Floor." His role is an arrogant middle school student who the main character's daughter pines for.

Kim Hyesu, who is the main character of the movie, handpicked Dongho for the part. Dongho commented, "I'm so nervous because it's my first time acting. I'm honored to be working with Han Sukgyu and Kim Hyesu. I want to become as great as they are so I could act with them again."

The comedic movie will open in theaters on the 25th. Other idols such as Big Bang's TOP, T-ara's Jiyeon, 2AM's Seulong, CN Blue's Lee Jonghyun and Kang Minhyuk have already made movie debuts. Are you looking forward to Dongho's movie as well?

[NEWS] 101014 U-Kiss @ Program MC of BS Japan: “The opportunity to become closer to the fans”

U-Kiss, the 7-members Korean idol group, will serve as MC in the program that is broadcasted in Japan.

U-Kiss, which is made up of multinational members from Korea, America and Hong Kong, has been casted as facilitator in the variety show 'MADE IN BS JAPAN' (Wednesday in-charge) of BS Japan which introduces Asia’s latest entertainment information, gourmet, beauty, fashion and so on.

On 13th, U-Kiss attended the press conference after they went for the live broadcast in TV TOKYO’s headquarter. The though, “Although we were very nervous, it was really fun” was expressed. In regard to standing in front of the audiences every week as “the appearance” of Wednesday, member Soohyun said, “Even it’s a little, it’s a good opportunity to become closer to many fans.”
