[NEWS] 110411 U-Kiss' Soohyun talks about being a member of the celebrity soccer team, ‘FC Men’

Recently, U-Kiss' leader Soohyun sat down with TV Daily to express his thoughts about becoming the new addition of the celebrity male soccer team, ‘FC MEN’, where he revealed that it was actually thanks to JYJ Junsu’s twin brother, Junho, who helped him become a part of the team.

Soohyun stated,

"I met with Junho hyung a few times during our promotions in China. We had always greeted one another and got along well, but once we recently met at the cinemas out of coincidence."

He continued,

"Junho hyung asked me if I liked soccer, and I said that I liked it even during elementary school. Hyung said he was going to make a soccer team, and asked if I was interested, which is how I became a part of the team."

The current team members of FC MEN are: JYJ’s Yoochun, Junsu and Kim Jae Joong, Kim Hyun Joong, B2ST’s Doojoon and Lee Ki Kwang, 2AM’s Changmin, Shinhwa’s Lee Minwoo, model Im Joo Hwan, gagman Park Sung Kwang, and actors Park Gun Hyung and Lee Wan. Professional soccer player Jung Sung Ryong offered to take the position of coach and manager, with gagwoman Park Ji Sun as their road manager.

Soohyun added,

"Now that I think about it, there are a lot of people on our team. I personally really enjoy soccer a lot, so I’m really happy that I was given this opportunity. Unfortunately, because of the release of our new fifth mini-album, my schedules have become busier and I haven’t been able to play once. I really want to get on the field."

FC Men will be holding a friendly match against three other rival celebrity teams come April 15th for the ‘2011 Peace Star Cup Celebrity Soccer Championship’, to be held at the Suwon World Cup Stadium in Gyeonggi-do.

[NEWS] 110307 Paran’s AJ revealed to be U-Kiss’ second addition

 

Yesterday, NH Media revealed the first of their new addition to boy band U-Kiss. Following up, the agency has revealed the identity of U-Kiss’ second new addition, whose biographical details will be released later on this week.

On March 8th, NH Media stated, “We will be making public the details on this second member by this week.  Paran’s maknae, AJ, was chosen as the second member and will be joining U-Kiss within the month.”

Although AJ debuted with Paran, his members left for the army while others pursued solo activities, leading to the group’s virtual disbandment.  AJ was said to have been attending school while preparing to debut again as a singer, but this time, he’ll grab his break through U-Kiss.

With the attention that Hoon has been receiving, NH Media expects AJ to receive just as much once further details are unveiled.

[NEWS] 110306 U-Kiss reveals their new member, ‘Hoon’

Earlier, NH Media declared that U-Kiss would be switching out members for the New Year. After the departures of members Kim Kibum and Alexander late last month, the group’s newest addition has been unveiled today.

Named ‘Hoon’, U-Kiss’ newest member was born in 1991 and is currently a theater major at Dong Guk University. He was selected for his tall height of 180 cm, handsome looks, and impressive vocal talent. Hoon’s interests in music and acting began at a young age, and it’s reported that he underwent rigorous training to cultivate the talents for both a singing and acting career.

Hoon is also a Tae Kwon Do athlete, and briefly made a cameo in SBS’s “Athena” as a bodyguard for the president.

Representatives of NH Media stated, “The new member to take the place of Kim Kibum and Alexander is Hoon. Throughout the times, there’s been a lot of happiness, but we felt there there was a need for a change in the team. After a long discussion, we came to the decision of switching out the members.”

Hoon is the first out of two members who will be joining the group in the upcoming months, as U-Kiss prepares for their activities for both Korea and overseas.

Their comeback album is scheduled to drop mid-March, but until then, fans can anticipate the reveal of the second member, as well as various promotional and UCC teasers.
